Welcome back explorer,

My heart sings to see thee on this brand new year. To start this period off I wanted to share more information with you about your elven neighbors.

So far Ethan has done a pretty good job at getting you acquainted to the Humans and has walked you through the basic but fundamental things you need to start off. You have seen how his city looks and have learned how he communicates with his surroundings.

But as of now you haven’t seen what a developing elven city looks like. I spent the last few days looking for the right village to show you and I am happy to say that I have finally found it! The village below belongs to an Elf that arrived a few months before Ethan.

Although he isn’t as driven as Ethan when it comes to building his city, he is still a good example.

As you can see elven cities use the power of nature to their advantage. As opposed to the humans who use their surroundings as natural resources the elves use it to help them gain resources. Take for example the planks manufactory.

If you remember Ethan’s village, the humans employ other humans to cut up trees and obtain wood. In this city you can notice this is the opposite. The trees work with the elves so the whole city can prosper. This is basically the case with all other good productions and is also the main difference between Humans and Elves.

Please don’t misunderstand me though, I am not saying that one way of living is better than the other. All I am trying to demonstrate to you is the difference between how both races live within the world of Elvenar.

Come back to me next week so I can explain to you how buildings work. See you next week traveler and keep your eyes open to your environment, it has much to teach you.
