Game version: 0.21.14985-1f89e56-(master) (2015-07-21 14:23)
Game world: Beta1
Browser + version: Chrome / 44.0.2403.107 m
Flash Player version: 18,0,0,209
Operating System: Win 7 Home Prem.
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080
Humans or Elves: Elves

Reproducibility: 5/5

Current situation:

"%" problem

  • Chat works normal until one tries to text the symbol "%" through chat. It doesn't matter where you have put % in the sentence.
  • Once you press enter, the chat for the sender freezes. Nothing else goes through but it is still possible to receive texts from other parties.
  • Chat can be functional again after refreshing the page.
"/" Problem
  • Causes the same problem except this character only causes problem when typed in the beginning of the sentence. If typed after another character, no problem occurs.
  • This happens when any of the "/", in the number keys and the numeric keypad, is used.
  • Chat can be functional again after refreshing the page.
Tried all the number keys, collectively and each seperately, including the keys before and after in the same line with number keys:
    • "1234567890*- ALL WORK
    • combined with shift key (% excluded): é!'^+&/()=?_ ("/" doesn't work if it is typed as the lead or only character)
    • combined with Alt GR key: <>£#$½{[]}\| ALL WORK
Tried the numeric keypad: seperately all but "/" works; collectively, as long as "/" is not the lead character, no problem.

Its the same with Firefox, so its probably not browser related.

"%" has been fixed indeed. But when it comes to "/" it is a whole different story :D

  • Type "/" press enter, sytem message appears and says "No such command available. Try '/help' for more information"
  • After typing the command, a short list of commands appear
  • If you type "/w (your own name)" it warns you not to talk to yourself! If you ask me, it's a good advice :p
  • You can also see who is online by typing "/who"

it is quite common in chat systems to use "/" as an escape character to enter commands :)
