That's because the mobile app is almost always one or two updates behind the browser (ie not the code that dropped today)

Do you mean we should expect a wrong diamond attribution following the next real app update? Then decimation ten days later? And tournament/spire/instants bugbuggies further beyond?

There is an issue as well with perk, although it shows 50.000 points, it allows putting the perks till 5000 points, though it later fails "unlock now", "this perk has already been upgraded"
