Confirmed.

1. Open crafting.
2. View traveling merchant.
3. Notice the icons for items produced are shown, how much of each item is produced is not shown. Same as pictured in OP.

After double checking, this is currently the way it's designed to work. We forwarded the feedback that this is not really informative.
